Well it has been a while of Sea Stories, I guess I have been in dry dock for a while with no real stories per say, so time to update.
I am now back home in West Virginia and working an actual project closet to the house of which I am most appreciative off. It has been a interesting journey since last Sea Stories for sure. Last one I was working In California at one project than came home for a little bit of time trying to work for others closer to the house.
Of those non were to my liking or desires I guess working for oneself and then going to companies that do not provide the service they are contracted or maybe a little unethical can wear one down. Any who after a couple of such back in 2022, I decided to take another adventure back in California on a large project which also drove me crazy. Mainly due to not doing the work I assigned on to and the client not following well established procedure nor their own written rules and procedures. That of course led me back home for another shot somewhat locally.
So back home and then new work in Washington DC area and thought it was with a different consulting company the client was the same as the one I left in California. Lesson learned was not to do work for such agency anymore. So after doing a 170-mile commute working for a great company, I was abler to locate to my current project that is 12 miles from the house and more3 a client group that I had worked with before which was very productive and very good, So happy for sure.
Now back home working out of the house and going to the local site and figure it was time to update the Web site, which I have been lagging for some time.
Allot of catching up to do and hopefully all will enjoy some of newer portfolio picture. Been allot of visit to NWR and bird photographing which I am no Birder though I enjoy taking their photos. So with that in mind, Idi make a visit to see my younger brother down and Florida and got visit Ding Darling which was very nice, I also went to Circle B Bar Range Reserve which was very nice also.
Me and the wife took a trip to Nova Scotia this year it is was outstanding on the return list, enjoyed Cape Breton NPS greatly. In addition the wife and I also visit Alligator River NWR down in NC earlier this year which was nice but not much wild life to be seen, such is life of a wildlife photographer. Then my neighbor and I did make a trip up to Cape May NJ to visit Edwin Forsyth NWR and Cape May Seashore NWR, both of which were nice and somewhat productive in the Photo sense. The neighbor also joined me for a trip to Backwater NWR as well as a return to Conowingo Dam of which I made a spate trip mid-November.
I did go to Blackwater NWR again yesterday to try out my new Canon 200-800 RF lens which gave me some very nice photos and exceed my expectations.
All said need to go query the web page and upload some photos of the places I have been more recently. So I bid farewell until the next Sea Story and hopefully it will not be another 3.5 year break.
